    Information

Important to know when you will purchase a pillow

There are so many different types of pillows, it is difficult to make a good choice. On this page you will find some tips and advice to help you make your choice. Are you just not completely out of it? Then call our store, where expert staff can advise you.

What is your favorite sleeping position?

This starts the choice for a pillow. Are you, for example, a side sleeper? Then you need a cushion with a good firmness (high fill weight). Are you a back sleeper? Then a softer cushion is finer. Tummy sleepers need a flat cushion, for which a special belly sleeping pillow is available.

Do you have shoulder or neck problems?

In that case, a pillow with an extra support for the neck is recommended. Your neck needs a different support than your head.

    Goose down

If you opt for a down pillow, opt for a well-formable cushion with great elasticity and a good drainage of perspiration.

You choose the comfort that fits your sleeping position and where you feel comfortable. From very firm to super-soft. Down pillows feel wonderfully soft and comfortable. They are lightweight and easily moldable for every type of sleeper. The higher the down percentage in a pillow, the softer the comfort and the lighter the cushion. The lower the down percentage, the firmer the comfort is and the heavier the pillow is.

All goose down pillows from the Vandyck collection are provided with a natural cover (cover) of cotton. Because this combed cotton is very finely woven, even the smallest fluff can not escape and the cover is extremely soft and supple.

Incidentally, all feather pillows from the Vandyck collection are animal-friendly.

    Talalay latex

If you opt for a latex pillow, opt for a form-retaining pillow with sufficient elasticity and a balanced support of the neck and head.

The best support is provided by a neck support made of Talalay Latex. In the production of this, the most pure latex is supplied with air by means of oxidation to create a unique, open cell structure. These air cushions make the product extremely ventilating and resilient.

The rest of the pillow is filled with Dacron polyester fiber balls. These are anti-allergenic, light, have high resilience and excellent thermal insulation. The head is well supported and because the material adapts to the body temperature it always feels good.

    Allergy?

All Talalay latex pillows from the Vandyck collection are treated against dust mites and bacteria (AEGIS ™ ANTIMICROBIAL TECHNOLOGY)

Dons is allergy-friendly. Bacteria no longer stand a chance after the hot air treatment of 120 degrees Celsius. In addition, the tightly woven ticking of pillows and duvets forms an unfavorable environment for dust mites, the main cause of allergic reactions.
